Learn to Skate

Plex Indoor Sports and Ice is proud to offer Learn to Skate (LTS) group lessons that provide a cost effective way for beginning skaters of all ages and abilities to learn the fundamentals of the sport. Our Learn to Skate classes are based on the United States Figure Skating (USFS) Basic Skills Program. This program provides a consistent and progressive method of learning the fundamentals of ice skating skills used in hockey, recreational and figure skating.

Learn to Skate is a beginning ice skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding. Skaters, who are grouped by age and ability, will benefit from social interaction in an enjoyable and safe atmosphere. This system also teaches goal setting, and develops patience, as well as discipline in working to achieve particular skills and begin a lifetime commitment to health and wellness.

Our standard Learn to Skate programs include eight 30-minute lessons as well as 8 FREE 2 hour public skate passes (to be used before the end of the 8-week Learn to Skate Session). .

All Classes must be made up with the 8 weeks.

Session 4 – Saturdays (May 3-June 21) 10:45-11:15am
